Sherry Davaie is a partner at Baer and Troff, LLP. Sherry’s practice primarily focuses on advising senior management of public and private companies in general corporate and commercial transactional matters, intellectual property acquisition and licensing, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions, and other general business matters.


Sherry received her law degree from Loyola Law School, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class and Order of the Coif. While in law school, Sherry served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Bruce Iwasaki of Los Angeles Superior Court. As a law clerk at other law firms, Sherry worked on a variety of cases involving a wide range of areas of law. As a result, Sherry has basic knowledge and experience in various fields of law, most of which overlap with corporate and business matters.

Prior to law school, Sherry received her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). As an MFT intern, Sherry specialized in trauma therapy and worked with a wide variety of populations, including veterans, victims of domestic violence and trauma, foster children, families, and couples. Sherry’s background has honed her interpersonal and listening skills, which she now utilizes in negotiating and mediating complex issues and disputes.

Sherry is a member of a number of bar associations, including Beverly Hills Bar Association, Downtown Los Angeles Bar Association, and the Iranian American Bar Association. Sherry is also fluent in Farsi.
